Hey guys,
My name is Rachel Chang and I am an art student that is supposed to start her freshman year at Parsons School of Design in the fall of 2017. Recently, my mom went through my sketchbook and found out I was gay and had a girlfriend. She kicked me out of my house, took away everything I owned, threatened my life, and stopped paying for my tuition for my higher education. I put my whole life into my art/ future, but everything that I've worked for is crumbling because of who I am and who I choose to love.
I woke up this morning to find out that I've been disowned. My family refuses to aknowledge me as their daughter, let alone a human being.
