Rachel's battle with CES

On January 15, I was heading to the emergency room due to numbness on the left side of my body after waking up with extreme back pains. While waiting in the emergency room my entire body from the waist down had gone numb and I had lost the ability to use my baldder and other motor skills. I had to have emergency surgery and was diagnosed with a condition called Cuada Equina Syndrome. A disc had slipped into my spinal canal and cut off all the nerves. I am still unable to use my bladder and have saddle numbness. I have no idea when I will be medically cleared to go back to work and since I have only been with the company for 7 months, I am not covered under FMLA or qualify for short term disability. I am one half of my house hold income and need a bit of help to cover medical bills and also bills in general. I appreciate anything anyone can send from the bottom of my heart.
