Hello everyone, my name is Rachele and I would love to share a story with you. While in Sicily, my family and I came across the most affectionate, loving dog who desperately needed help. At only about 8 months old, he has already endured so much. Abandoned as a puppy, he was left with a collar that he tragically grew into. The collar cut deeply into his neck, leaving him with a severe, open wound.

My brother saved his life when this sweet dog ran up to him crying for help. With a pair of gloves, a little courage, and love, my brother removed the collar that was suffocating him. Since then, this beautiful soul has been full of excitement, finally able to breathe and wag his tail freely. We’ve been feeding him, giving him water, and showing him kindness — something he’s been without for far too long.

But he’s not safe yet. His wound is serious and he urgently needs medical treatment: antibiotics, vaccines, possible stitches, and ongoing care. Sadly, there is no one here who can provide him the life he deserves. Our goal is to bring him back to the United States where we can make sure he receives proper veterinary care, love, and a forever home.

We can’t do this alone. We’re asking for your help to cover his medical expenses and the costs of safely transporting him to the States. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to saving his life and giving him the second chance he deserves.
