Rachel was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer 7 years ago, just before her 50th birthday. Each year since, she has continued to fight this battle with 7 major abdominal surgeries, 30 chemotherapy treatments, multiple surgeries, and many weeks spent in the hospital. As Rachel fights this battle, she undoubtedly trusts in God every day and gives all the glory to Him. We have watched her faith in God grow over the years as she gives her battles to Him. What a praise and blessing this is!

Her next steps are to visit MD Anderson in Houston this next week so they can determine if she would qualify for further treatment in their facility. Rachel's PET scans have revealed that the cancer has spread to her liver, lower pelvic cavity, lung, and tailbone.
