Rachel Ekenseair Funeral Expense

Dear friends of Rachel, most of you know by now that Rachel is rejoicing in heaven and has been healed of her earthly illness.  Rachel and John were married in 2010 and by 2011, Rachel was diagnosed with uterine cancer.  Rachel was a warrior for the Lord, a new Mom, a wife, a daughter, an awesome teacher and friend.   Many followed her journey on her Facebook posts and know that she fought her cancer for 7 years.  She battled hard and many times thought she was close to conquering it and continued to live life in its fullness, including becoming a Mom by adopting John Jr and Gabby in May of this year. 

While living life and believing she was going to conquer her cancer, the unexpected expense of a funeral along with providing for the children is a big burden.  This Go fund me page was started by a friend who cares and wants to give others the opportunity to show tangible love to John and the kids by easing this expense. 

So many on Facebook have mentioned Rachel's faithfulness, her strength, her incredible laugh, and her amazing testimony.  Let's now be a testimony for her family in helping provide them with our financial love.  

Another way to show love for the children's education has been set up through LRCA where Rachel worked and touched so many lives.  That may be the way you want to provide.  Or providing a donation here may be what you feel led to do.   All of the money raised through this campaign will go directly to the family to help with the funeral expense.
