Rachel Cupito Cancer Fund

Hi, my name is Tina Cupito. Four years ago my daughter Rachel started complaining of itchy skin. We chaulked it up as a cat allergy, because we never saw a rash. Over a couple years. She finally started developing a rash. In January 2023 she had a swollen lymph node. The doctors told her she must be fighting something and eventually we thought it went away. In September. It came back and they put her on prednisone. Over the summer of 2023 she was diagnosed with eczema and nothing seem to work so they put her Dupixent. The medication kind of worked, but the rash never really went completely away. We thought the lymph node had gone away but it only went down to Pea size. Two weeks before Thanksgiving Rachel came to me and said she had a large lymph node on the left side of her neck and she was right. It was rather large and had no pain. She proceeded to tell me that the lymph node above her clavicle on the right side, had never gone away, I took her to the doctor and we started trying to find out what was going on. She had a multitude of test and they found that she had five lymph nodes throughout her upper part of her body. She had six by the time she had a biopsy. On January 12, 2024 Rachel was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma. She will start chemo on February 2.

This is a child who has never been sick a day in her life. She is an honor at Concordia University. She is working on her bachelors and nursing. I am doing this fundraiser because she’s going to lose all her hair and will need wigs. It will help with getting her back-and-forth to doctors visits, and all the things that her insurance will not pay for. It will also help me because I will be out of work off on to be with her on the days that she is very ill.

She is the best thing in my life and my heart breaks for her that she has to go through this. Whatever you can give would be truly appreciated. She will finish chemo on her 20th birthday.
