we will try to raise funds to help with Medical, living and other costs such as a wig for Rachel throughout her chemotherapy treatment.

Rachel is a very dear friend of mine who is 25yrs old.
last year at the age of 24 she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, her son Ronnie was 8 months old. 
Rachel was due to marry her partner who serves in the armed forces in march 2015. 
Rachel underwent a radical hysterectomy in the summer of 2014. she had everything removed even the option of ever having another child.
She spent her 25th birthday in hospital then to find out that the cancer had spread into her Lynmph Nodes and needed 4 weeks of intensive chemotherapy treatment, she missed her son Ronnie's 1st birthday as she was in hospital.
Its now nearly christmas and she left the hospital and a little party was organised to celebrate her leaving hospital and to celebrate Ronnie's 1st birthday.
all is well or so we thought........

16 weeks later she is informed of the terrible news, the cancer has  RETURNED, it has spread further through the lymph node system, in may 2015 Rachel is due to start 18 weeks of chemotherapy. She has been told she WILL lose her hair.
the hair loss is a devestation for her as it has always been a comforter for Ronnie. Ronnie is now 15 months old, he knows soemthing is wrong but he adjusts. 

The purpose of this page is to help them as a family, it will hopefully help with medical expenses (Rachel had been telling the doctors things were not right and Eventually they gave her further scans) this may have been found sooner had she not have had to fight the doctors for a scan!! 
It will help pay for a wig for her and Ronnie, this is such an important issue for her.
She has only just returned back to work and now has to be off again, so living costs will be an issue and childcare whilst she undergoes her treatment. 

If we all team up and raise enough, maybe just maybe there may be a little left over to send Rachel and Ronnie on a little holiday or short break once she feels better from her treatment.
