Racheal’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Racheal is a proud, single mother to an incredible daughter Sophia and had recently taken a new job improving the health and well-being of young children throughout the county. Unfortunately, after having just taken this next step in her career, she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She and her family are in need of support to get through this difficult time in their lives.
On December 5, 2022, a lump was found in Racheal’s breast. She was immediately scheduled for a 3D mammogram and ultrasound (December 12, 2022) and a biopsy following that (December 21, 2022).
On December 28, 2022, she was formally diagnosed with breast cancer. Specifically, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Invasive Moderately Differential Mammary Carcinoma). She was also recently informed that chemotherapy will be the only option for this particular instance of cancer.
Racheal, having just made a career move before the diagnosis, had not had the chance to accumulate paid sick time to assist with a disease like this. The financial and emotional burden caused by the situation is increasing greatly, and she could really use some support to get through this time.
Any money raised would be put directly towards treatment costs or her family's needs during this time, and any donation is wholly appreciated.
