On Saturday, January 18th my sister Rachael Smith was biking home and was blindsided by a car on Annunciation Street,  just blocks from her home. The incident resulted in several fractures to her left ankle & foot, requiring multiple surgeries, as well as some serious road rash, abrasions, and bruising.
Rachael does not have health insurance and is projected to be off of her feet for 10-14 weeks.
