Go Fund me page for Gary in memory of Rachael

On 24 September 2026, our friend Rachael tragically lost her life in a tragic road accident in Romania.

Rachael was doing what she cared so deeply about - rescuing dogs and giving them a chance of a better life. She was a remarkable, kind and incredibly compassionate person who dedicated so much of herself to helping animals, her community and being an enthusiastic litter picker in our group.

This fundraiser is not for the dogs. It is for Rachael’s husband Gary, as we know that, alongside the unimaginable heartbreak of losing Rachael, Gary is going to face unexpected expenses and practical challenges in the days and weeks ahead.

We have set up this fundraiser simply to give Gary some financial support during this devastating time, but also as a way for all of us who knew Rachael to show our love, friendship and appreciation for both of them.

No amount is too small. Every donation, however modest, will be gratefully received and will help Gary with whatever expenses arise as he navigates the incredibly difficult weeks ahead.

Rachael touched the lives of so many people. This is our opportunity to come together and make sure Gary knows that he is not facing this alone.
