HELP WITH NEW TRACK LAYOUT AT CIRCUIT GRAND BAYOU

Attn: All Circuit Grand Bayou track enthusiasts.

During the past 2 years we have had great success in resurrecting the .5 mile "Peanut" circuit, The .55 "Modified Peanut" circuit and briefly, the 1.8 mile Circuit Grand Bayou after years of nonuse. We have had over a dozen track lapping days and races for both cars and motorcycles. Our original GoFundMe campaign raised the needed funding to get these tracks in usable condition again. We appreciate all of the hard work and contributions to get road racing events back at CGB. The 1.8 will still require several thousand dollars to get back in use. We do however, have a unique, 1.1 mile configuration that uses the 2000ft dragstrip straight planned for Oct. 15th! This track configuration will be utilized as an interim "Big" track while major funding is being secured for the 1.8 circuit.

The 1.1mi. is in relatively good shape but needs a little work to get it in prime lapping /racing condition. We are therefore starting a GoFundMe campaign to raise $4000 to make surface repairs and put down the liquid asphalt which has worked so well on the other portions of the track. If you are able, we ask that you please contribute to the GFM. This contribution will go directly toward track repairs/upgrades and ensuring that these events for cars and motorcycles continue and grow. We have always had a unique (Grassroots) relaxed atmosphere here at CGB and we want to continue to provide a Fun,Affordable,Safe and Sustainable venue for motorsports.
