Team Ireland Paddle to Szeged challenge – 2,506km. The team have set themselves a challenge to kayak the distance from Leixlip to Szeged between them from August 1st to Sept 15th in order to help fundraise for the trip.

The Olympic Hopes Regatta is designed to gather the best young kayakers from over 40 countries around the world to compete against each other in three age categories, u15, u16 and u17. Often this event is the first step for future champions on the road to the Olympics. Many Olympic medallists and competitors have experienced the atmosphere of an international canoeing competition for the first time at this event, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for our team of young Irish athletes to showcase their talents on an international stage and gain invaluable experience.

the Irish team for this event so we are

looking for your support to assist with

• Kayak rentals at the venue
