We are Mona & Tim and we would like to offer you an opportunity to do good, in times where it's especially important to those in need. Times are rough for many of us, though no where near as tough as for others. Thus we, as a collective, should appreciate what we have and together help those in less fortunate positions.

With your help we want to support a project called Songo.info, located in the township Kayamandi in Stellenbosch, South Africa. As a social development program, Songo.info offers education and sport activities to provide opportunities for children to grow and learn, while installing the necessary life skills needed for a brighter future.

Tim has been part of Songo.info's volunteering program as a voluntary teacher for 3 months now and Mona joined him during her visit in October, hence we know where donations could be used efficiently. That being said, the donations will contribute to the following 3 programs within Songo.info:

 ·      50% of the proceeds will go towards the "Songo tots teacher program", a recently created program that supports children at an early age (2-5 years old). Further funding is required to hire a teacher that helps the children with educational activities.

 ·      30% of the proceeds will go towards the "Lunch program", providing nutritious meals to the children each week

 ·      20% of the proceeds will go towards the "School in a box program", which covers costs for tutoring of the primary school & secondary school students

100% of the proceeds collected by this fundraiser will be directly transferred to the project Songo.info, be assured the donations will only support the causes mentioned above.
