Race for Mental Health: Honoring Steph
Donation protected
On November 8th, I’ll race the Ironman 70.3 World Championships — 1.2 miles of swimming, 56 miles of biking, and 13.1 miles of running.
But this race is about more than a finish line and a placement
I’m racing for Steph as well as anyone who has lost a battle with mental health. Steph was my friend who we lost to suicide. His loss left a hole in many lives, including mine. And I want to honour him by raising $10,000 for Smiles through Lidnsey and Hope for Hallie, two non-profits that help youth and young adults with mental health.
1 in 5 adults experiences mental illness each year. But far too many suffer in silence. My goal is to break that silence, one mile at a time.
Every dollar raised goes directly to support mental health resources, crisis lines, and education programs that save lives.
Whether you donate $5 or $500, it all makes a difference. If you’ve struggled, if you’ve lost someone, or if you care — this is for you too.
Thank you for supporting this mission, and thank you for helping me carry Steph’s spirit with me every step of the way.
