the other day my grandpa pulled over to help someone who was in a car accident, when he was helping them, a truck driver hit him, he flew in the air and was hurt really really bad. he broke both of his legs and the left one was broke so badly they had to cut it off.. he suffered several other injuries as well, and is to stay in the hospital for 6 weeks until he can even consider physical therapy or getting up. the driver that hit him, drove off... as you can tell by now, the medical bills are going to be very high and it would really be nice if he could get some help. this is a man that has helped people his whole life. I've seen him give so much to people, I've seen him risk his life going into fires when he didn't even have his fire armor on. he looks out for people even when they aren't his concern. from saving people in fires for many years, to helping people out in car accidents. my papa does not deserve one bit of what he's going through and what he has to go through. he's already been through so much, a beautiful kind soul like his does not deserve this pain and depression. he is the back bone of our family and the most generous, loving, kind hearted person I know. the phone call I had with him tore me to pieces.. he's struggling so much both physically and mentally. if you met him, or even knew him for a day you'd be in tears knowing that such a horrible thing has happened to him.
