Cruciate Ligament Rupture Surgery for Ashton

Hi, my name is Asia and this is my fur baby, Ashton. My boyfriend and I rescued Ashton 3 years ago, or should I say he rescued me. He has been my official emotional support animal from the very beginning and I can’t picture life without him.

Ashton started limping a few months ago, and after a few veterinarian appointments and a couple of different sets of x-rays, we finally found out why. Initially the X-rays didn't show damage, so I was told to minimize our long walks and start him on joint supplements to see if things would get better.

Unfortunately, his back legs started to get worse, and he was having a hard time getting himself up, so again I took him to the vet. This time Ashton was diagnosed with Cruciate Ligament Rupture in dogs and hip dysplasia, I've provided a link for further information (https://youtu.be/j7b1RChDIE8).

Ashton needs surgery to repair the damage, which is scheduled for September 28th to be done by Tibor Lazar, DVM. The surgery is estimated to cost $3,500. We are both college students and we were not prepared to face this news about our beloved Ashton. We are asking for any monetary help, prayers and love as we try to get our pup the surgery he needs. We greatly appreciate it!
