My dear friend Alex has recently received crushing news that no one ever should have to hear and face them alone. He has been diagnosed with leukemia and without any family here to help him, he needs all the help that we can give him.
Alexandru Daghie is just 20 year old and he has a beautiful dream. Since childhood his dream has been to become a pilot so he came to Chicago. Unfortunately, that is when his symptoms started appearing. It started with flu like symptoms and then it gradually became worse. He was always tired and dizzy. He went to the doctor for a check up and he wasn’t allowed to leave the hospital anymore. The doctors saw that something was wrong right away and a few days later after they performed numerous tests, they told him that he has leukemia. His treatment requires intensive chemotherapy and prolonged hospital stays.
