Texas Iron Spikes is the premier service, spirit, and fraternal organization at The University of Texas at Austin. The Texas Iron Spikes are dedicated to providing service to both our campus and community, and we are particularly passionate about contributing to Special Olympics Texas (SOTX). Iron Spikes' primary means of raising funds for SOTX is the annual Spring Classic Softball Tournament. The Spring Classic is an exciting event that the we enjoy hosting, and it serves as a venue to raise much needed funds for a worthy cause.

Special Olympics Texas is an organization dedicated to providing people with intellectual and physical disabilities an opportunity to achieve. Its mission is to help athletes gain self-confidence and learn skills that make it possible for them to become productive citizens of our communities. Since the Special Olympics program is available in most areas across the state, any monetary contribution you make will benefit athletes all across Texas. Ultimately, your generosity will help provide life-changing experiences for many individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Over the last ten years, the Spring Classic Softball Tournament has been extremely successful, raising over $125,000 for charity.  Your generosity, coupled with our enthusiasm and initiative, will allow us to give even more to Special Olympics Texas this year
