Robyn & Dan's Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday, April 4th, a significant fire swept through the Westwood Village apartment complex in Westbury, New York. Driven by high winds, twelve of the sixteen units in the apartment complex were completely destroyed, and thirty people have been displaced. Residents literally escaped with the clothes they were wearing, without time to rescue any belongings or valuables. Robyn Drew and Dan Fichtelman had recently moved into a second-floor apartment in the village. They were fortunate to escape the inferno without harm..... it took 125 firefighters from 15 fire departments to battle the fast moving blaze. Robyn & Dan have literally lost everything! All of their clothes, furniture, jewelry, sporting equiment, electronics, and personal effects are gone. The damage to the structure is so extensive that residents are not allowed to even search for anything that might have survived the fire. While they do have apartment insurance, it will not replace everything that has been lost. Please help them get back on their feet with your generous donations. Every little bit helps! Thank you!!
