My best friend, former roommate, and pain in my ass. He was the older brother I never thought I wanted. Looking back, he was the brother I needed.
For those who aren't familiar with Dan, the only way I know how to describe his personality was, well, that it was Dan's.
Its hard to put words to someone who's life meant so much more. He was so marvelously, imperfectly, excitingly, concerningly, lovingly Dan.
Whether it was his puppy-dog eyes, hysterical personality, or pure relatability, Dan had a charisma to him that left people wanting more. Any of the literal thousands of people who were able to call Dan their friend could attest to this.
Dan was one of a kind. A lover, an advocate, a person who struggled with his own demons, a son, a DJ, a skateboarder, a goon, a die-hard patriots fan, a literal life-saver, a dog-person, photographer, philosophical brother, and most importantly a friend.
He was so loved. He still is. And will be missed by so many.
Dan deserves a memorial that matched the size of his personality. His love deserves to be shared.
Any remaining funds will be donated to a local cause TBD. Dan loved his community and to help the underdog.
Dates/location will be announced as soon as they are fully coordinated.
