Imagine losing everything you owned in a devastating house fire. On June 29th, that's exactly what happened to Svetlana while she was babysitting her nephew, Jayden (a former student of mine). Luckily, everyone escaped physically unscathed, but the trauma of the event still lingers. Now it's time to pick up the pieces, but where to begin? 

I am raising funds on behalf of the family. These funds will allow her to purchase clothing, food, and furniture to help her begin to rebuild her life. Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs, and we hope this fund will help alleviate some of the challenges that they (she and her nephew) are facing.
