Our Story:

Our mold war began over 12 months ago.  Taking all 12 months to figure out what was killing us.

Unseen "Toxic Mold" hidden in a home we were renting.

Taking almost a year left us exposed to high toxic levels, Melinda suffered a "Brain Injury".

I'm learning everyone that's ever been exposed to toxic mold responds differently,  that in Melinda's case, she suffered way worse.  They discovered 5 very dangerous deadly molds in our home.  One, most of us have heard of, that's referred to as "Black Mold" Stachybotrys.

It's what's now being researched to be the next Biological Weapon.

Black Mold has a deadly mycotoxin that other molds that even though are deadly, don't have.  It's referred to as T-2 Trichothecene.

Poor Melinda's T-2 levels of mold in her body are as high as these medical doctors she's had been treated by, ever seen.

Several countries have already grown this same toxic mold to harvest concentrated T-2 mycotoxins that's only found in "Black Mold" for biological weapons.

Black Mold is very scary dangerous deadly stuff.

Moisture in our homes if left not professionally addressed, can turn into your worst nightmares you could ever imagine.

It's been a losing battle for us from the start  .  .  .

Melinda in 12 months saw almost 10 different doctors trying to figure out why her health continued to get worse. 

Would you believe not a single doctor ever for a second considered it to be mold related.  By being unaware and uneducated,  it caused our extended exposure that led to Melinda suffering even worse.

The mold we discovered was 100% unseen, unless we had an "Air Quality" test performed by a company like Palmetto Environmental Solutions, we'd never believed Melinda's health declining to unseen indoor toxic mold.

It's a whole lot less than it costing you to lose everything in your home like it cost us from something called "cross contamination",  once the mold was discovered and we needed to leave,  we could not get a moving truck, packing what we owned because mold had not only made it's way into our bodies but into everything we owned and loved  .  .  .  .

Things that look absolutely fine were not.  You could not see mold but it sure would make anyone around this stuff very very sick.

Again,  It's heartbreaking, look around you,  everything inside your home, everything you love,  it all looks perfectly fine but if the mold has made it into us making us sick,  it's made its way into everything else.  

Everything you worked so hard to have,  everything yu loved,  we had to leave it all behind leaving with just the clothes on our backs.

It's been one loss after another being compounded.  Losing for us is never ending . . .

It's cost us our spirit led photography business, everything we owned, to selling all our camera equipment, to selling cars .  .  .  .

All to provide us the ability to seek much needed environmental medical doctors that there are very few and far between.  .  .

I've never seen anything rob someone more than this.  

I've seen what fire does, I've lived through hurricane Hugo in 1989.  I know people suffered many losses but "Toxic Mold"  takes from places in your life you could never imagine. 
 
Nothing breaks our hearts more than to make this "GoFundMe" asking for help finanically.  Asking for help is not what we do,  we are the ones that go out in the field to make what difference we can.  It's never for us been about money, but in making a difference.

We know times are hard,  money doesnt go very far these days.  But if you are able to bless us, even in the smallest amount,  it matters.

Everything given we have noted to see your gift not only blesses us back to health but we want it to continue.  If not back to you, then to another who now may need that helping hand you offered to us.

You gift will "Save A Life",  Melinda's life.  The doctors said she will die without treatment from her toxic mold exposure.  If she is going to turn this around,  it must be now.  She's lost so much ground,  because of her extended exposure,  each day that she doesnt act,  her chances of overcoming this get smaller.

Time is something Melinda has very little left of .  .  .

Melinda is in a place she cannot get out of,  treatment options she needs are beyond her reach,  needing answered prayers .  .  .
