Breast Cancer Treatment Medical Bills

Hi my name is Jaime, I am asking for help for my best friend of 25 years, Lisa. Just 2 months after Lisa’s 50th birthday and a clear, annual mammogram, Lisa felt a lump in her left breast. A few, short weeks later she received the diagnosis of Her2positive, Stage 2, Breast cancer. After a having a lumpectomy, In October 2022 she began a series of chemotherapy treatments in hopes of receiving a clear MRI in February and therefore avoiding a mastectomy.

Lisa’s job has been incredibly supportive of this season of her life, and they have made numerous adjustments to enable her to work when she is physically healthy enough to do so, in between her rounds of chemo.

However, the out of pocket expenses of deductibles, copays, and prescriptions; along with many, many days missed work, is taking its toll on her and her family financially.
