I’m going to have open heart surgery July 3, 2018. I am having my aeortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve. 
I will be out of work for a minimum of 3-4 weeks, more likely 6 weeks. I am raising one child on my own and do not have disability insurance, therefore will not be getting paid for my time off. I do not make much as it is, so I do not have any money saved up. 
I would like to be able to keep my house and car and groceries would be necessary as I will not be driving for at earliest 3 weeks, if my mechanical valve is accepted into my body. 
I have 2 dogs that I love dearly as well and they are my sons life. 
I’d appreciate anything because I’ve always said, ‘a little something is better than nothing’.
