Hi, I’m Denise and I’m raising money to help pay for my oncology medical bills. At just over 38 weeks pregnant I found out that I have triple negative breast cancer. We had my son 4 days later to begin treatment as soon as possible. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment and am determined to beat this thing to stay around for my son, he needs his momma!

As some may know, chemotherapy costs tens of thousands of dollars per treatment. I'm fortunate enough to have a pretty low out of pocket cost with my insurance in comparison, but it’s still a few thousand dollars which is a lot to us right now considering all of our other baby-related expenses. I’m looking to only raise enough money to cover my out of pocket cost with my insurance so that I can focus on getting better and keeping our other bills maintained. Anything helps!

Update: we’ve got our medical bills under control! But now we’re needing help to help offset lost wages. I am about to start long term disability which cuts my pay down significantly. We have set money aside to help offset the difference but I will also have to start paying for insurance out of pocket which is quite costly. We also have a 5-day trip to Nashville for surgery next month as well. Considering these new expenses, I’ve increased the goal but anything helps as we navigate these costs! We are so close to the end!
