Sandy Murray Medical Fund

Our mom came into the ER 11 days ago with severe pain and vomiting. It was determined that she has gallstones that turned into a severe case of pancreatitis and necrosis in the pancreas. We have been with her as she declined and as they moved her to more and more care. She has been in the ICU for 5 days now, battling respiratory and kidney failure and is currently considered septic. She has been on a ventilator...fully sedated. Her numbers fluctuate day to day, but as of this morning mom was breathing on her own! She still has the breathing tube/ventilator in because swelling is still not low enough to take it out. We are cautiously optimistic that she is making small steps toward turning the corner, but there is much more healing needed. Doctors are saying she will be in the ICU between 1 and 3 months, along with a stay in a rehabilitation facility to get her body back to full strength.
Everyday that mom has spent in the hospital is helping her beat pancreatitis, but as a result, medical bills are piling up. We would love nothing more than to aleviate the financial burden that this situation has caused so that 100% of mom and dad's focus can be on healing. We are trying to keep this fund a secret from dad if at all possible. Thank you in advance for all of your love and support! We are so grateful for each one of you!
