Sydney's Soldiers- a CDKL5 journey

Sydney was born with CDKL5.
CDKL5 is a rare X-linked genetic disorder that results in severe neurodevelopmental impairment and early onset, difficult to control seizures. Most of the children affected by the CDKL5 disorder suffer from seizures that begin in the first few months of life. Most cannot walk, talk or feed themselves, and many are confined to a wheelchair. Some may have scoliosis, visual impairment, gastrointestinal difficulties, respiratory and sleep problems. Due to these issues our little fighter needs to call out to you for help. There are so many expenses that are not covered by her insurance but are absolutely necessary for quality of life. There are rare disease clinics she needs to attend and special"learning" toys that she needs to progress beyond her developmental delays. Each of these trips to out of state clinics can easily cost between $1000 and$2000. The"toys" that are recommended by therapists cost $200 and $300 each. We, as Sydney's Soldiers will fight along side her until she overcomes the limitations put on her by this devastating disease. Please help, even if it is only one dollar.
