Maddy's heart surgery

Hello my name is Natalie and I am fundraising for my niece Maddy. Maddy is 9 years old and lives in Alaska.

Maddy was recently diagnosed with a large ostium primium atrial septal defect. She has a very large hole in her heart (a 20mm defect) that will need to be fixed with open heart surgery. This surgery cannot be done in Alaska and will likely be done in Seattle or (hopefully) Minneapolis. After surgery she will need to stay for 2-6 weeks post op before she may travel back home.

This fundraiser is intended to help with the cost of surgery, travel, child care, and other expenses that may come during this time.
