Shawn’s Go Fund Me

Hi friends and family. For those that don’t know, my cousin Shawn was in a horrific accident the morning of July 20th. He was on his way to work and was t-boned by another vehicle. His car flipped several times and he was trapped inside pinned by the wreckage. First responders arrived within 10 minutes and used the jaws of life to get him out and transport him to the hospital. Shawn is home now but underwent a procedure to stop internal bleeding and spent several days in the ICU. He is unable to work at this time and when he can return he will need a new car to get there as his was totaled. He suffered hematomas and is still in immense pain. Shawn has had to follow up with his primary doctor and have cat scans and other out patient appointments. As you could imagine, the bills are already coming in. His insurance company has notified him of the amount he will receive and it is only half the amount of his hospital stay alone and that doesn’t even include the surgery. Shawn is left unable to work now, without a car, having to still pay rent and regular bills and now medical bills on top of that. We are beyond grateful that he is with us today and made it out of that horrible wreck. Our family is doing all we can to help Shawn as we know he would do for us. We are asking friends and family for any donation to help him get through this very difficult time.
