My Name is Stephen King,
And 3 yrs ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic non small cell lung cancer. I'm battling as good as the next guy, I'm to the point of maintenance chemo every 21 days forever. After my intial battle I had clean scans. I thought it was over. No one told me what metastatic meant and that means the cancer hides in your good cells and after all of your chemo is over it creeps back in. My wife at the time of my clean scan era came to me and said you know if something happens and you dont make it I can't afford the house payment or all of your doctor bills. And I said well the only way to prevent that is a legal divorce, so that is what happened and she now lives in Illinois. So I'm left to pay the house payment and my truck payment, and lo and behold I started losing weight again and after 2 yrs of not going to the doctor. I go see my old radioligist and they confirmed that my cancer has returned. I'm going in tomorrow for my eighth round of chemo, needless to say the doctor bills are mounting and my insurance is not stepping up to the plate as good this go around. As it stands right now I'm right in the 20,000 dollar range of bills from this go around. Anything at all would be very helpful and very appreciative. Thank You, from the bottom of my heart
