As many of you know, my brother has been in the hospital for a few days with an infection in his leg. Doctors have told him that when he is released he will not be able to walk with his prosthetics or work for at least a month plus.
This will also require some new updated medical equipment and modifications to his
vehicle. Along with that, he will also be required to go to wound care and rehab during this time. They are also going to have to move from the 2nd floor of their apartment downstairs to a handicapped unit on the 1st floor that was not previously available. There are costs related to this much needed move that will also be incurred.
Greg is not currently working and has no insurance to cover medical expenses. They do have Stacy’s income, but this will come up short of meeting their monthly expenses with the new expenses that will be required.
