Help Get Back My Stolen Camera Gear

On Saturday April 4th, I walked out to my car after photographing Dumpstaphunk at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY. As I got to my car, I noticed broken glass everywhere and my driver side window was smashed in. Sometime between 8pm and 1am, someone took a screw driver and broke into my car. They stole my backpack and camera bag which included a ton of gear that I use when shooting shows and festivals. Insurance covered the cost of a new window, but unfortunately the deductible is the same as the value of the stuff that was stolen. Included in the gear I lost was a Canon lens, a mounted camera flash, my backpack, my camera bag, numerous batteries, chargers, cables/cords, my waterproof case for the camera, and memory cards among other items.

The timing for this was terrible as I just recently left my day job to focus on my photography full time and make a career out of my passion.

If you know me or have seen me at a show or festival before, you know I'm the kind of person who would always help you out or gladly take a picture of you and your friends. It crushes me to have to even ask for some help, but I don't really have any other option right now. If you can help in anyway, just know that it is greatly appreciated. This summer, please stop me and say hi if you see me at a show or festival. Grab your friends and I'll happily take some photos for you guys or just hang and listen to some good music.
