Support the Clark family

Hi Everyone,

My name is Jen Risotti and I am a friend of the Clark family. Through Braden’s friendship with our daughter Sophia, oh so long ago, we have become family.

As many of you know Tuesday evening Braden Clark took his dirt bike for a quick spin. Less than a mile from his home he was involved in a head on collision with an SUV. Braden suffered non life threatening injuries and was taken by Med Flight to a Boston hospital. Braden has broken bones in his face, two broken hands and many burns and lacerations. Thankfully, in time, all of this will heal. However, Braden’s leg is the main concern as it’s severely damaged. He has undergone one surgery with a second scheduled for Thursday 7/25 and numerous surgeries to follow.

Braden’s road to recovery will be long and arduous, but if you know Braden, you know he is up for the challenge. He is strong and resilient, and will take this on worrying about everyone other than himself.

If you’re reading this and don’t know the Clark family personally, here is a little back story. Braden is 19, and the youngest of 4. He has a twin sister Rilee, an older brother Tanner and an older sister Brittany. Their Mom/Stepmom Tara has had the monumental task of raising her kids by herself after the tragic passing of her husband, their Dad Joe, back in 2016. This life altering event profoundly impacted each one of them and continues to do so today. Through strength, love and support they have found their new “normal” but of course miss Joe beyond measure. Braden is the glue that keeps his family together. Always generous with a hug or a smile, his light-hearted spirit lights up a room.  He is easy going, kind and extremely generous. His love for his family and friends knows no bounds.

I am reaching out on behalf of the Clark family asking for your help. If you pray, please send prayers his way, if you are into sending good vibes and good juju, he’ll take it, positive healing thoughts, keep them coming! And if you’re so inclined to make a monetary donation, the Clark family would appreciate it more than I could ever put into words. The financial burden the family is now facing is tremendous and overwhelming.

Tara, Brittany, Tanner and Rilee have asked me to pass on their appreciation for the outpouring of love and support for their family. They would like to thank the first responders who cared for Braden and did everything possible to give him a fighting chance. Thanks to the incredible team of doctors and nurses who are doing everything in their power to aid in Braden's recovery. They would especially like to thank NG for his quick action at the scene that quite literally, saved Braden’s life. There are no words to express the gratitude we all share for your heroic efforts.

As Braden’s condition changes we will add updates. Thank you in advance for your support!
