Hello, I am fundraising to pay the deductible for my prosthetic legs.
As you know we moved to Las Vegas for the warm weather and to be more physically active.
I started a routine of walking and jogging. Unfortunately, I developed a small callous on the bottom of my left foot. My doctor treated my wound for six months, but it kept getting worse. Eventually I was taken to the hospital with a high fever. I was told my foot had developed an infection.
In November of last year my left foot had to be amputated to save my life. I went through rehabilitation and at home physical therapy.
I had just learned to stand on my right leg when my right foot developed a wound. I went back to the hospital and I was told I had injured my foot during physical therapy and had a MSRV infection. The infection quickly spread to my bone and my right foot was amputated in April.
It’s been a very trying year, but i am determined to stand and walk again!
I am now in the process of getting my prosthetic legs. I am hopeful to raise $6,000 to cover the cost of my medical deductible. Your helo would be greatly appreciated.
