Help Tammy Recover
Donation protected
On August 10, 2019, my sister, Tammy Farran-Wuertley, was returning to her car after enjoying a local concert when she was hit by a speeding truck while crossing the street. The driver fled, leaving Tammy in the road, barely clinging to life. Tammy endured multiple bruises and fractures, but the most significant and long-term consequence for her is a traumatic brain injury. After almost a month of intensive hospital care, she was moved to an out-of-state facility where she is currently receiving inpatient speech therapy and physical rehabilitation. While Tammy has insurance to help cover her medical treatment, it does not cover the costs associated with residing at this care facility, which average about $2,000 per week. She will likely need to receive this care for over a month. Her husband Adam must now worry about the exorbitant costs and
travel expenses, in addition to the stress of being separated from his wife while she fights her way back to a new normal. I am managing this account to ensure that my sister and her husband are able to get help with the funds they need, without having to ask for assistance themselves. Tammy is a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Before this cruel event, she was very physically active; Tammy loves the great Wyoming outdoors. She is active in the legal community in Casper, and has contributed so much to others through volunteer work and foster parenting. Let's return the favor and support her while she recovers from this horrific accident.
