When I first heard of WorldTeach, I knew that there was no better program to provide me with a cultural expedition that could change my life. With this program, I would be given the opportunity to go to abroad to Morocco, experience its culture, immerse myself into its language, and do what I am passionate about: impacting younger generations through teaching. Unlike many other students my age, I look at this program as an advantage to gain first hand experience teaching, especially more specifically experience in teaching abroad. After an intense WorldTeach application, I am now presented with an opportunity to travel to Morocco allow me to get an edge in my ability to provide all students with a multicultural education.

As a nineteen-year-old woman, I have a true passion for teaching, humanity, and impacting lives. With an opportunity like WorldTeach, I am able to study aboard and gain new knowledge through teaching aboard which will allow me to truly see firsthand the realities of other areas of the world in present day. My passion for teaching, humanity, and impacting lives are strong and I feel it is time I start putting my desires into action more frequently. I want to know more about how I can make an actual impact in our younger generation. I want to show how a proud Mexican-American from Chicago can create a mutual learning relationship from globe to globe.
