Funeral expenses for our beloved sister

On behalf of my family, I am starting this go fund me page to help with funds for my sister’s funeral expenses.
Her name is Channmunita Reth but we all know her as Lutie, Chammy or to most of her friends Tipzy. She was the youngest of four siblings. She has a son, his name is Anthony and he is 11 years old. Lutie was full of life and had a strong personality and stayed true to who she is and was never afraid to speak her mind or stand up for herself or for her family and friends. She’s that one person you know that will always have your back no matter what. She was funny, loving, very loyal and being around her family and friends means a lot to her.
Unfortunately, for the past several years have been really tough for her. She had so many health issues that prevented her from living her life to the fullest. And being a single mom and unable to physically do things with her young son was really hard for her. Christmas was one of her favorite holidays and with Christmas being around the corner, this year and every year going forward would never be the same for us. The best part of Christmas for her is seeing how excited everyone gets when they opened up their gifts. This year, she actually bought everyone gifts prior to her being admitted and it will be something that we will forever cherish. This was one of the hardest things our family have to deal with, losing a love one especially around the joyous time of the year, but it won’t be so joyful for us.
On 11/24/23 she was admitted to the hospital and unfortunately on 11/25/23 she had 2 cardiac arrests that caused her to have severe brain damage and had to be put on life support. After 3 weeks of being on life support she passed away peacefully on 12/17/23 at 11:54am. But she was not alone, we made sure she was surrounded by family and a lot of love during her final moment.
We love you Lutie and know that you will be missed. We have gained another angel to watch over us and we promise to take very good care of Anthony.
