Noel Ramirez, Husband of Crystal Ramirez and father of Martin (7) and Nolan (2) Ramirez of Coal City is in need of a kidney transplant and needs the help of his community to make it happen. Transplants are lifesaving but very expensive.
Two years ago, just 2 weeks after the birth of their second son, 42 year old Noel was diagnosed with end stage renal disease. Noel is completely dependent on dialysis, which he undergoes at home 5 nights a week. His only chance to return to good health is with a kidney transplant.
Noels wife, Crystal, will be donating her kidney to Noel, but funding this life saving procedure is a monumental task. As there will be many medical expenses not covered such as co-pays, anti-rejection medications, childcare and monthly expenses also, as both parent will be out of work a time and Noel will not receive any pay for 3 month as he recovers.
