Princess has been one of our close friends since high school back in the Philippines. She would eventually emigrate to the US for employment as a nurse with hopes that this would pave the way for a good life ahead. She would soon bring her husband to the US and start a new life here as a family.

On April 8th, Princess gave birth to a very beautiful girl, Janine Chloe. Baby Chloe is doing fine, and is now at home being looked after by her dad, Jon. 
Unfortunately, Princess had suffered a mild stroke after childbirth. She is currently in ICU where she is closely monitored.

Princess is the sole provider of her family. We expect that she will not be able to return to work immediately and care for her family given her current condition. She has regained some motion on her extremities and is able to walk with assistance, but she is still unable to talk. At this time, we do not know when she will be medically cleared for discharge from the hospital.

We want her to focus on her physical therapy and recovery, and the last thing she needs is to worry about her family's finances. We are raising funds to help out with the medical bills incurred and miscellaneous daily expenses. Several friends and relatives have come to their home to help Jon look after Chloe and their other two kids, Faith (age 6) and Matthew (age 2). 

However, running a household with three young children is only half of the battle. The other half is the financial aspect. We would like to help Princess and her family get through this difficult time. So please, if you can donate, Princess and her family will greatly appreciate any amount.
