Hi, I am Mikaela Doering.

My brother Edward Saenz, wife, 2 kids, and 3 dogs were recently negatively impacted by the flood. After just moving into their first rental as a family in Sumas, they were forced to evacuate and later alerted that their rental flooded. They’ve lost clothing, food, furniture, toys and many other household items to this flood.

They are in need of financial help to replace the items lost to the flood. This financial help will also cover the cost of temporary housing while waiting for their rental to be repaired. At this time, Edward has also been laid off due to his employer's business also being affected by the flood. This family has always been kind, hardworking, and willing to help others when they can. Now they are in a position where they truly need support. Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward helping them recover and get back on their feet.
