Hi everyone! I've been debating on whether to start a campaign or not for a while now. So here goes...
On October 20, 2014, I had an emergency c-section, and Kaleb Alexander Kindred made his debut 2 1/2 months early. He was 28 weeks at 1lb 15oz and a warrior! He stayed in the NICU for 5 months and since his discharge, he has been in and out of the hospital for numerous reasons. Most of the time they can't diagnosis him. His medical history is 2 pages long. His pulmonary hypertension and heart defects are a constant problem. In addition to that, he has severe hearing loss. He was fitted for hearing aids, but they were no luck. My husband and I are hoping that he is a candidate for the cochlear implant. He is missing valuable physical and occupational therapy by being in the hospital. He has been in the hospital for about a month now, without a timeline or plan for discharge, as well as no diagnosis. We stay at the hospital 6 days a week, only going home to wash clothes, to go back to the hospital. Kaleb is our pride and joy, and we will do everything we can to help our son. This is why we decided to start this campaign, which will go towards hospital bills and therapies. We are grateful for this opportunity, and we appreciate any and all support! Thank you!
