Funeral Assistance

My name is Mary Higgs, the great grandmother of the children of Ebonie Allen. I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Ebonie’s children/family to assist with funeral costs. Due to Ebonie’s condition (Sickle Cell disease) she was not able to obtain adequate life insurance to cover end of life expenses. Ebonie leaves behind 3 beautiful children Jacquez (18), Xander (9), and Madison (2) as well as her fiancé Darrien Higgs. Ebonie lived with sickle cell disease her entire life along with other life threatening diagnoses such as; a stroke due to aneurysm, breast cancer, and gall bladder issues. Years ago, one of her doctors shared that she would not live past 5 years old. Ebonie proved those doctors and everyone else to be incorrect by surpassing the man-made expiration date. We are so grateful to have shared this side of life with her. We are asking for the support of the community to help give Ebonie a proper burial.
