Kirsten and Tony's Medical Fund
Donation protected
On April 6, 2018, Kirsten and Tony Ursetti had to lay their precious baby boy, Rocco Carmine, to rest after his two week struggle in the NICU. He went through an incredible amount of obstacles and hardships, but fought the entire way through until it became too much for his little body to endure.
Due to complications with the pregnancy, Kirsten was admitted to Summa weeks prior to Rocco's delivery date. It was due to these complications that she was immediately put on mandatory bed rest with 24 hour monitoring. She was just 24 weeks along when Rocco was born via emergency c-section.
Between Kirsten's weeks in the hospital and Rocco's fight in the NICU, coupled by multiple surgeries, this family has unfortunately wracked up an incredible amount of medical debt. Even with insurance, the out of pocket cost is much larger than anyone expected. No parent should ever have to experience losing a child, and their hearts will forever be lacking. Our thoughts when creating this GoFundMe were to try to lessen the financial burden that followed this traumatic experience. We are asking for any donation, big or small. Anything helps.
Thank you.
