Dear Friends and Family,
My sister Sara who means the world to me is battling Metastatic Breast Cancer. Last February, we discovered it had spread to her bones, brain, and lungs. Unfortunately, it has now spread to her liver and there is extensive growth in her lungs. Her cancer appears to be very aggressive and fast moving.
On Monday, I took her to Cancer Center for Healing in Irvine. This cancer center has everything it will take to get her better. It is our last HOPE for Sara. However, these advanced therapies are not covered by health care insurances. I am setting up this gofundme account for those of you who are able to contribute to her treatment costs.
Sara still has a lot of fight in her. She tells me everyday how blessed she is. When asked "What makes you happy?" This was her answer:
Life makes me happy, the good and the bad. I have terminal cancer and I can honestly say that I have never been happier in my life. Everyday is a blessing. To wake up with another chance to honor God, make a difference, change for the better, try something new, give a real hug, make a new friend, tell my children how awesome they are, poke fun at my husband, spend time with my sister, visit my mom, the list goes on. What is life for? Life is for you!!!. Enjoy it under all circumstances.
