UPDATE: Mike is scheduled for treatment in December, with this comes another unexpected expense. Then with the holiday fast approaching we feel lost. He is have to isolate himself away from the family. This new expense is about 600 dollars due to being radioactive and needing to stay near the university per his physicians request. With the extra room cleaning fee due to his treatment was more than anticipated. We have been completely overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone but our journey has just begun. As my husband Mike fights cancer, we have experienced financial hardship. As a nurse, I never thought I would have to ask for help. As we navigate this trying time, we are now in a position where we have to ask for help. We have four children and are just trying to survive during this nightmare. Mike will begin treatment and knowing this is just the beginning, we truly need assistance now more than ever. We are trying to cover medical expenses at this time. Anything helps, God bless
