It is with optimism that we write this, our sweet furry friend Harry isn’t feeling well. He has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and while this seems like the beginning of a long journey, there is hope to prolong his time here with his beloved family and friends. Harry is a solid member of our community bringing joy to everyone he meets in person or on social media. He charms his viewers with his big golden heart of love and his sweet dopey eyes. His family and friends are asking for your help.

At the end of April, Harry came down with the sniffles and his mom and dad noticed the lymph nodes in his neck were swollen, so they took him to the vet. Unfortunately, after a variety of different diagnostic tests including bloodwork, fine needle aspiration of the swollen lymph nodes, x-rays, and ultrasounds, they came back with the diagnosis of lymphoma cancer. Our sweet little (very big) boy still has a lot of life to live, and his family decided that chemo is the next step in the journey. Luckily, lymphoma usually responds very well to chemo and it is very likely (80-90%) that Harry will go into remission as a result of the chemotherapy. This process will take about 15 weeks and if all goes well will hopefully add years to his life.

Harry enjoys making everyone he meets smile. He loves camping, going to the beach and wine tasting with his family. He can often be spotted at different wineries around the Central Coast like Chamisal, Deovlet, and Kynsi just to name a few. He and his sister, Twiggy are normally laying in the sunshine as their doter’s give them praises in awe at Twiggy’s beauty and Harry’s regalness. He is adored by everyone he sees and nobody is ready for that to change.

Harry began CHOP chemotherapy on May 7, 2021 and will continue it for 15 weeks. His family and friends are asking for any support possible. This is a trying time for those who love him and it would be greatly appreciated if his family could make the following decisions with as little stress as possible. That is why we are asking for your help.
