We Love Daphne
Hi Friends, Family, Loved ones of Daphne Lopez, compassionate strangers also welcome.
This Go Fund Me campaign is for our dearest Daphne who is in need of major help. An aggressive, fast growing tumor has immediately and instantly changed Daphne's life. After weeks of progressive symptoms, several visits to different doctors, and finally a biopsy, on October 22nd Daphne was diagnosed with a rare tissue cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. Localized in her throat, the tumor grew from 2.5 x 4.4 x 6cm to 3 x 5 x 7cm in just two weeks from the CT scan to her diagnosis, inhibiting her ability to swallow and breathe properly. Days away from a feeding tube, her incredible team of doctors acted swiftly in getting Daphne started in treatment right away as this aggressive cancer is sensitive to chemotherapy. The location of the tumor would call for a radical surgery that her surgeon said would be too involved, it would be the last resort. It will be 40-50 weeks of chemotherapy with radiation for Daphne.
Anyone who has met Daphne knows all about her radiant smile that brightens any day, it has been a gift for us to see and feel all the love, peace and positivity that shines from her. She is always the first person you can call on hands down for help, she will and has dropped everything out of the goodness of her heart for anyone in need. Daphne has been working hard on her screenplays and acting for years, she has been balancing her passion and devotion with her care for young kids. Daphne has poured love into these little ones with all her being, the connections she has with the lucky few who have been in her care can attest to this. She is fearless, adventurous, patient, warm, and kind. It really doesn’t get better than Daphne.
We believe she can beat this, and we are relying on all of you out of the goodness of your hearts to help support her and allow her the freedom from financial stress that she needs in order to focus fully on restoring her health. As Daphne is now unable to work, donations will go toward living expenses, rent, transportation to treatments, out-of-pocket medical testing, supplemental healing expenses, health food/ specialty diet, potential therapy and accupuncture to help with effects of chemo and radiation, and any adhoc medical treatment that may come up as her body starts to feel the effects of chemo and radiation, and more.
Thank you all so much!
