My name is Meisha and I’m making this gofundme on behalf of my entire family . They lost everything when Hurricane Melissa tore through our hometown in Jamaica. The storm ripped the roof off of their home, leaving them and children with nothing but what they could carry.

Their belongings, furniture, and clothing were all destroyed by the rain and wind.

My family has always been a hardworking and provides for everyone within the family with strength and determination. Now, they’re starting from scratch ,trying to rebuild their home so the adults and children can have a safe place to sleep again.

We’re asking for your help to get them back on their feet. Donations will go toward:

• 3 Adults and 3 children

• Replacing the roof and repairing structural damage

• Getting new furniture and essentials

• Replacing clothing and school supplies for the kids

• Covering basic living expenses while the home is repaired
