Predoctoral Internship Move to MA

Well my mother says nothing beats a failure but a try so here goes nothing! As you may be aware I am scheduled to start my Predoctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology as the final step in this long journey of attaining a Psy.D. I will be moving to Springfield, MA in 8 short weeks and have run into many costs that my financial aid will not be able to cover.

I'm a determined young lady who has successfully navigated hurdles and I don't shy away from "doing what it takes" to achieve my goals. So here I am putting pride to the side and handling business. Operation move to MA is going down in 8 weeks and so I decided I've got to try all that I can to make it happen!

For those of you who don't know me directly here's a little bit of my backstory. I have been slowly but surely working my way towards the PsyD degree over the last 13 years. Trust me, humor has become a great coping skill! It has taken some time since attaining a higher education degree was not meant for people from poor backgrounds to achieve. Yet I have stuck with it, often times working 2 and 3 jobs in an attempt to keep my loan debt as low as possible (wishful thinking). I am thrilled to have matched for an internship as it is the final step to finishing my program but the various costs associated with moving from CA to MA is not something I can handle on my own.

I am in need of assistance and every little bit helps. Skip the coffee stop one day, cook dinner one night instead of going out or hey donate money from cashing in your recyclables!
