"If we all do one random act of kindness daily, we just might set the world in the right direction" - Martin Kornfeld
I ask that you PLEASE give what you can to help my sister and her sweet Danny boy & at least share this post to help us be her aid during this rough time. Danny is a brilliant & gentle-loving 4 year old German shepherd who had to be rushed to the emergency room yesterday evening after he ate 1/4 of his long rope toy earlier in the week The rope toy got tangled up in his intestines and caused them to twist. His heart rate was dropping dramatically, literally when Bitsy took him in to Clifton-Centerville Animal Clinic, and he hasn't been able to eat at all or even drink water since Sunday. His surgery went well (THANK GOD) as he had just a 50/50 chance of pulling through last night, but he is still in intensive care and being closely monitored at the ER in Manassas as his intestines are unfortunately not in great shape & a part of it is rotten. My heart broke when I heard the news as I have been there in that scary time when we had to rush our sweet dog Lucy to the emergency room and face the moment that had us forced to say our goodbyes to her- The feeling came back all over again! Fortunately, Danny has pulled through this far & we are hoping for a strong speedy recovery!!
I'm sure many of you have heard me speak about my sister (practically a real-life version of snow white) & how much heart she has to help animals and has always put those in need before herself and provided so many animals with help & loving care that they need. She has worked in almost all the vet offices in Northern Virginia & is truly a guardian angel for creatures of all sizes.. from cats to dogs & even horses. Please, please help her in any way you can during this holiday season and help pay it forward as she has always done over and over again. She has always put her heart in the right place & she will truly need all of us to work together to help her provide the care Danny needs. All prayers, well wishes, donations and shares of this request are all truly and greatly appreciated. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP & MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE! MUCH LOVE & WELL WISHES
